You got me wrong. As being a grid fan I myself do editing directly in grid (and have a class for it in FoxyClasses).
I meant it might be problematic in grids where both parent and child fields exists (with one-many on or off). Really problem part is only related to that you might not notice when you change a field in record x and that field is a parent field you're actually changing in parent and thus it changes in all records in grid that has the same parent (wow above my English to define:)
