What's there to wait for? Intellisense alone was worth the upgrade to 7.0. However, 8.0 builds on this and has a number of things (CursorAdapters, the XMLAdapter and others) that it makes sense to go straight to eight

I am not the one that needs convincing, I am taking my own time to write a convincing argument in favor of going straight to 8, however what I am hearing is that there "Isn't much in 8 that you can't find in 7...". I know that's not true, and the problem is that some of the people here are from the dark ages, where classes are something we don't really need, so they are not interested in most of the improvements that 8 offers because they have not moved far enough into today's world. If you get what I mean. My problem is that a lot of my argument pertains to things that "THEY" don't deem necessary. I am plugging along anyway because I firmly believe we should just upgrade all the way, but I am finding it hard and a lot of the really cool stuff is just falling onto deaf ears because of the reasons I stated above. Any ideas on how to get through???? :-)
