That's actually not a bad idea since one can still locate previous commands in teh command wiindow and cut-and-paste any of them into such a program window to 'select and execute'. At leasst that preserves the existing workspace with it's constituent cursors so one can finish the work before quitting and restarting. Thnx. Funny how the obvious so easily escapes us. /psb
