Hi all,
Now that I've started using VFP8 and CM7.1 I've noticed a problem that wasn't there before. In my standard setup, I have all my tables in the appData.dbc which will be stored on a server at deployment. Then I create another dbc (LocalData.dbc) that will be stored on the local PCs at deployment. This LocalData contains views. All my data access is through these views. The problem is now, when I add a new record to a view, CM creates an appReg01.dbf in the LocalData.dbc and stores the counter in it. Obviously, since that will be local, it's useless. I've used this exact same setup with VFP7 and CM7.0 and my shared keys get generated correctly in the already existing appReg01.dbf in appData.dbc.
Does anyone know what's going on with this one?
TIA
