The application was originally a vfp7 app. I upgraded to vfp8. I recompiled the exe with vfp8. I modified the report, saved it and it returns the error at runtime. I even tried creating the report from scratch in vfp8. I renamed the old report, created a new one, and copied all the controls over from the old to the new. Still the same.

I even tried: creating a brand new exe in vfp8. Add a report, and put the _pagetotal on the report, it gives an error at runtime.

I'm considering trying to re-install vfp8
I still have vfp7 installed on my computer, I have done this before with no problems, maybe something is different now.
