Hi all,

Has anybody gone through the trouble of actually figuring out what files VFP 8 needs to install properly without using an installer (or using a light weight third party installer)?

I'm looking at the INstallShield log and am trying to figure out what I really need. Here's what I got from my 'regular' trimmed down Installshield install in terms of 'system' files:

There are a couple of things I don't know here. Why are there two sets of msvcr70.dll files in there? And what is the msvcp70.dll file?

It also seems that the stdole and asycfilter dlls are only required on Windows 95 and NT which we supposedly aren't supposed to support anyway.

The above works fine for me in testing, but it's hard to say since my OS's are pretty up to date <g>. nothing older than Windows 2000.

Any comments, or any reference to a list of what files are actually required to install?
