Thanks for the response Mark, the RunOnce registry settings for both HKLM & HKCU state (value not set). The RunOnceEX setting also indicates (value not set)

I'm running Windows 2000 SP2 on a Dell P4 2GHz. I tried installing it on my laptop and it installed with no problems, it was also running Win2k but it had SP3 installed.

I just tried installing InstallShield Express first and it installed with no problems. I was hoping it would clear the error but it did not.

I've searched the Microsoft KB & Google with no luck.

It's day two now and I still can't get past this point.
