>Using the NAME clause in the SET PRINTER TO allows the correct printer to be selected unless it is a local printer at the user's desk or the PDF Writer from anywhere. The error is: Error accessing printer spooler. If I don't use the NAME clause then it doesn't always select the correct printer, but if I do use it then there is an error with some printers. Any thoughts?

Hey Renoir!

Is there a way to use aPrinters() here effectively? Haven't quite worked it out yet, but thought it could be more reliable? This affects many areas in a fairly large appliation that has much reporting/document functionality built in so I'm trying to find a solution that is very stable.

BTW, off-topic, I know, but I keep meaning to tell you what a great guy you are!
