I did not know I had that option but thankfully I will be able to save them for another time. I found a KB article that fixed the problem. It looks like upgrading to Internet Explorer version 6 for Windows 2000 may also have the same problem. The Microsoft KB Article 312444 explains it all. I had to delete PendingFileRenameOperations in the registry. After backing up and deleting the key the install worked perfectly.
