Hi, all.

We have a simple problem, yet cannot find a simple work-around. Maybe somebody out there can help us.

Our clients have installed Adobe PDFWriter (version 4.0), and want to send some of our reports to this driver to create .PDF files from the output. We find that the PDFWriter CHANGES THE VFP DEFAULT DIRECTORY to the folder of the file created (before the report is created). Since we have some reports with relative pathing for images, they get "Invalid Path and/or Filename" errors within the report. After the report is over, it has CD'd to the folder of the file the PDFWriter was trying to create.

This client has 233 reports with images on them. All of the images point to files in relative paths. Each report is generated from a separate program, however all reports are generated from a common report-generating class.

Anyone have any comments or ideas?

(Personally I think the programmers at Adobe have written some pretty rude code, which CD's us out of a directory and doesn't put us back, buy maybe that's just me...)

Thanks for reading, and for any solutions.

- George
