Since you are using generic/text printer you cannot change the fonts with the font property of the field in the report. It will be ignored I believe. You can try sending control codes directly to the printer using ??? and the escape code sequence for that printer model (search on the web or look in the printer manual) or you can try issuing SET PRINTER FONT 'Courier New',8 (example only choose the correct font). I'm not sure if it would work though with generic text printer selected. Let me know.
