GOT IT!,

Thanks for sticking with me on this one.

I compile the app in question to an .app file and launch it with an .exe . Out of habit, day in day out repitition, i only work with the .app file and leave the exe. alone.

I had never compiled the .exe to the new version, 8.

So a vfp7 .exe was launching a vfp8 .app .

The dumbest mistakes always seem to be the hardest to find.
