I am not using any third party ActiveX control, I am just using a native VFP control for the report designer. If an ActiveX control needs to be registered. Do you know what it is?
 "2) It is never a good idea to develop in an old Win-based OS like 
Win98 and expect it to run properly in and NT-based like WinXP. It should 
always be the other way around. At a minimum, development should be done in 
Windows 2000 Professional." 
I disagree with this one because Window OS is supposed to be "backward compatible", which means new OS should support apps developed in old OS. If one developes an application that uses a new feature existing only as of XP, it would surely fail in Win98 which does not have the feature.
