All our Novell login scripts store the %login_name and the server name the user comes in on to DOS variables with the DOS SET command. These variables are picked up by the gplib in the old FoxDos system I support. I doubt we'll be leaving Novell any time soon so the GETENV will be fine for the new system I'm writing which will run locally.
