Hi Ravi,
I'm doing well...how's it going with you?
While I think Outlook Automation certainly has its place, if I was distributing an application I would not want to depend on (or require) the existance of Outlook on the end-users' machines...especially for simple sending and receiving of emails.
Both wwIPstuff from
www.west-wind.com ($129 shareware) and Mail/X control from
www.mabry.com have what you need for sending and receiving emails from VFP, and you can distribute them with your app. wwIPstuff examples are in VFP, which is a plus for you. Also checkout Brian's website (elsewhere in this thread).
And if you want spend more money *grin*, Whil has a new book covering email on
www.hentzenwerke.com. I haven't read it, but if its like their other books, its thorough).
Let's see, who else can I plug...hehe

I saw that, but didn't have any suggestions...except for to try to register the files on the machine.
