Hi Alex

A number of ways.

1) make sure the record you are pointing to is blank

INSERT INTO dbf_name

preferably into a view or buffered table

2) cast your cursor to a named variable

SCATTER NAME oRecord BLANK

and then point all your controls to the scattered record object.
