I've given up using SET PRINTER TO. I'm going to use SYS(1037) because that seems to always set the printer correctly. Problem now is that many reports are contained within SCANs and I need to know what was selected from the SYS(1037) dialog. Both the printer and whether they canceled or not. Is there any API (George, are you reading?) calls that I can do? Using VFP6.0 on W2K.

>Using the NAME clause in the SET PRINTER TO allows the correct printer to be selected unless it is a local printer at the user's desk or the PDF Writer from anywhere. The error is: Error accessing printer spooler. If I don't use the NAME clause then it doesn't always select the correct printer, but if I do use it then there is an error with some printers. Any thoughts?
