You cannot equate television producers trying to obtain movie rights to the Jessica Lynch story with the rest of the country's feelings Fernando. They are what most would consider 'ambulance chasers' and capitalism at its worst. However, this does not only happen in capitalist societies and is not any worse than those young Iraqi civilian boys in Iraq profiteering by selling their water to the other citizens of Iraq when no one had water (actually not nearly as bad as that in my eyes as the producers are not taking advantage of anyone). As to the story about the young boy who lost his family and his arms, that story has been aired on U.S. television continuously also and we all seen it and are touched by it.

I do not see any evidence of celebrating the end of war here in our country--in fact just the opposite. People are still fighting and people are still dying on all sides and will be for sometime to come still.
