>Has the entire world forgotten that fighting is still taking place in Iraq? Coalition troops as well as Iraqis are still dying.
We all see images of the dead, dying and dismembered on our televisions and different stories will stick with us more than others.
One that will stick with me was when I turned on the television to a news special (Channel 4, UK) called "After Saddam". The headlines were that Baghdad had fallen, Iraqi were rejoicing, coalition forces were rejoicing, everyone were partying and happy times were here again. This went on for some time and even my wife was watching ("Wow, I'm not interested in politics but even I'm excited").
Then we heard that actually the war was not over, there was still fighting and a marine had just been killed. All I could think of was the family who were probably thinking that at last their child/parent/spouse would be out of danger but that in reality they'll get a call the next day.
