And in NC we have a property tax for all domestic animals (cats, dogs, etc) that is about 25.00 per animal and you file it on the same form with your home. It is 100.00 fee for every year you fail to file it.
And if you are a military spouse and your vehicle is registered in another state, you must pay 'use tax' on the vehicle in NC to drive it here.
