You're confused. I'm not "fighting" fair use; I'm saying it is fair use ... and it's up to the other party to make a case that it's not.
And since I'm not the "end user" of my app, I have no control over what they do with it.
Let MS figure out how that somehow adversely affected their sales of ... what ? Windows ?
Some people have speculated that what's currently missing from Linux is a decent 4GL; if anything, running VFP apps on Linux might boost the sales of VFP developer editions.
MS isn't doing me any favors; I don't plan to do them any by "forcing" users to buy Windows.
Smells a lot like forcing OEMs to only install Windows on their hardware ...
MS lost that one too ... and it didn't require OEMs to "take MS to court".
