>remove from registry???

Yes,
The registry is where the info on many hardware devices is stored.
From the Windows start menu choose “Run” Type in “regedit” and hit the OK button.
You will be running the registry editor.
Once in the registry editor,
go to the “Edit” menu and choose “Find”
Where it says “Find What” put in the IP address that you want to remove. (Select all checkboxes)
It should be found.
Double click the entry to edit it.
I would change it to something else before deleting it entirely. When you are sure you have the correct entry. You can go back and remove the entire node.
