You said that uninstall was not available because you removed the card.

Like I said before, When you have both cards installed, uninstall them both, reboot and then install just the card you want.
To uninstall:
Right click my computer, go to properties, hardware, device manager and find the network card to uninstall if it's available

In any case, uninstall would automatically remove the registry keys that you may have to remove manually.
