Okay Thanks for your responses. I'll try to populate from the column.init() the column.inputmask = column.textbox.inputmask as I was told that the column.textbox gets initialized before the column, so I guess I will pull the inputmask from the textbox.

The first controls the presentation when the TextBox has the focus, the other, when it doesn't. You may need to simply place the same InputMask for both. If you leave the TextBox.InputMask blank, it may use the InputMask from the Column, but I am not sure right now.
