Check the data environment of the report to see what tables are used and what index is set for each table.

FYI .. there's a bug in the Report Wizard that can sometimes add indexes to your tables. If this report was designed with the wizard, it's possible that the data environment has the "new" index set and your real data doesn't have that index anymore.
