Using Oracle SPs to Insert and Update Data from VFP FAQ #17999

Complete code. All you need is an Oracle ID and password and a few privileges detailed in the FAQ. The code shows how to use Oracle Stored Procedures and VFP code to perform inserts and updates as well as return the number of rows updated.

The SQL%ROWCOUNT feature in the SPs also demonstrates a solution to overcome a problem using TABLEUPDATE() with remote data that returns TRUE even if NO rows are updated on the server.
