I was thinking that isolating and maintaining separate config's and resource files was probably what I needed to do... I was hoping that there might be a code fix or work around that would prevent me from having to take that approach. Thanks for the reminder about the Preference clause. I think I'll try taking that clause out. The users can live with default browse settings until we get the rest converted to grids.
