You don't mention what version of Excel? In 2000 & 2001 you can no longer re-map keyboard shortcuts. You're stuck with the defaults. However, since F2 is the shortcut key for edit in Excel 2000, I suspect you are using a previous version? Also, just to be save, do you have a gateway computer with a remap key by any chance?
