I have used the Word 2000 Developers Handbook by Guy Heart-Davis published by Sybex.

It has the complete list of properties and methods for the Application object and the Document Object.

For example, if you want to operate on the Word Application you use the properties of it like the visible property to make word visible or not. And if you want to work with the document, you use the document properties and methods like the Fullname property tht returns the pfull path to the document filename. Although it is writen for VB, the object properties do work in VFP
