first of all: thank you for answer.

The application I need to execute via shellexecute, works fine as standalone application when I run it. It is a VFP7 executable (.exe); I will refear to it as MyChild.exe.
Unfortunately MyChild.exe does not start correctly when I execute it via ShellExecute from another application called MyApp.exe, which is a VFP7 executable too.
Any other application I execute from MyApp.exe via ShellExecute starts correctly and works fine.

So, it seems to me that a .exe built with VFP cannot correctly "ShellExecute" another .exe built using VFP.

I have not found any report of bugs concerning this problem, so I am quite sure i am doing something wrong. But I do not know what.
