it is a possibility, of course.
In fact, I have tried an experiment: instead of executing myapp.exe in the executable form, I have executed the source code (MyApp.scx) into the Visual FoxPro IDE. It works fine. The MyChild.exe application starts and works as aspected. Maybe, as you suggest, a problem with configutation files, startup parameters, or something like this. I will try embeeding in the executable all the support files, like config.fpw etc.
I will investigate about this possiblity.
