I searched for this problem, back the last 2 years, and seems like it was just you and I that had it. I'm glad it helped you, and maybe someday others.

>>Jonathan,
>>I took the line, posted by Michel, in the message Jim gave me, and put it into a file called testsound.htm. I changed the "newmail.wav" to a known local filename and fullpath. Saved it and doubleclicked it. As soon as I got this working, I heard a message come in on the UT.

>>>Thanks. I'm not sure what was wrong with mine. It used to work, and I've been hearing other sounds in Windows. I tried double-clicking a .wav file on my PC, Windows Media player opened, and I saw that it was trying to download and install some codec. Since I'm running on a managed PC, it wasn't able to install the codec. So, I logged in as my Admin account and opened the .wav file successfully. I'm assuming that the UT sounds will work now. Thanks again.
