Freebie sites:
I use Yahoo TV listings, and there has been this "American Express" ad that pops up, over the browser, not in a window. I had to turn off the "Enable Third Party Browser extensions" and get a popup killer to prevent it from torturing me. One nice thing about it, when I click on a PDF file, it ask if I want to download it, or open. It opens outside the browser .

>They don't bother me either because they do not cover any information on the page. If they did it would drive me nuts and I would not pay for membership. The only issue I can think of is that animated adds (like popups) typically are reserved for 'freebie' sites where all income is generated from advertising. I paid for my membership so it would be nice to have the choice to turn them off as a part of PUTM. However, if for economic reasons it is a choice of animated ads or no UT, I'll choose to keep the UT with animated ads. Well, there is one thing at least: they are not popups!

>>>How about an enhancment request for PUTMs, (at least) no animated ads.

>>I guess they are doing what the intention was meant, to draw the eye to the motion.
