When you have the Environment Manager displayed, you should see a link for each environment you create. Click the link you want, and the environment will be set and you will get a notification dialogue box saying so. Also, click the Manage Environments and create a new one. Don't edit the < current > one.

Then I ran my code to build the executable, at which point I got the Locate File dialog box with "Unable to find dbxcmgr". I then had to point it manually to C:\Stonefield\SDT\Source, which is a path set in the environment Manager. Where else could I be going wrong?

>>Start using the Environment Manager in the Task Pane. You can create as many environments as you want [usually 1 per project]. Part of the environment is the path you want to use. When you set the environment to what you want, all your settings are set to what you want.

>>>Under Tools/Options/File Locations/Search Path I entered the following - similar to what I had on VFP 7.

>>>c:\;c:\stonefield\sdt\source
>>>;c:\stonefield\sfcommon;c:\program files\microsoft visual foxpro 8\wizards
