I think you mean what is commonly just known as "ToolTips"?
I don't know a way to make it dissapear. But for objects on my forms, I show my users "StatusBarText" instead, since it is less intrusive. It doesn't appear on the middle of the screen, but at the bottom of the screen instead, so that users can simply ignore it, if they already know the meaning.
