And there is no way to get back to where I was other than rerunning the app and causing the error again. Pet peeve? Maybe, but it still acts like a bug to me. Is there some environmental or form-level thing I should be paying attention to that would eliminate this?

Interesting! I'll have to check for that where the program suspended. So, probably not a bug, perhaps just more of an inadvertant design issue.
