I think that the question is how to set the length of timeout for the tooltip to disappear. Certainly I have been in situations where I would like the tooltip to NEVER disappear (unless the mouse is moved away). Although I think I understand the question, alas I do not know the answer. Anyone?

>I don't know a way to make it dissapear. But for objects on my forms, I show my users "StatusBarText" instead, since it is less intrusive. It doesn't appear on the middle of the screen, but at the bottom of the screen instead, so that users can simply ignore it, if they already know the meaning.
