i think Christof is going in the right direction. i you .vcx is not specified in the program, your .exe has to search for it. there are certain rules how vfp does this (i saw this 1 time in the msdn library). if i remember correctly the path setting from windows/dos is included in that search.

since you mentioned it is working on some machines but not on 1 - maybe thats a good place to start the research?!
