This is a really silly problem, but it's grown annoying. Somehow in VFP7.1, WinXP Pro, I have managed to get the Open File dialog to always come up with descending sort order (which I don't want as default). This happens for all files/folders of any type, and only happens in VFP - other apps like Word are not affected.

I've tried resorting, changing the file/folder list-type, etc. I can see what happens: every time I select a folder or file, the descending sort instantly returns. I also tried altering the WinXP indexing, but no cigar. This appears to be something internal to VFP.

This has got to be something simple. It doesn't seem to be the Foxuser, as I changed that, but it had no affect. Any ideas?
