I played with that for a while, but it didn't work for command lines that had to include parameters (the examples show this but it didn't work for me). Also the name of the tasks can't be controlled.

I ended up creating a C DLL that does this by calling the internal Windows COM components for this. Apparently these aren't exported in a way that they can be accessed by VFP or any other high level COM client.

There goes another half day - but it's been a while since I had to write C++ code <g>...
