Ture to an extent. The first grid shows time vs 7 days across, therefore, only one name appears in teat slot. In the double click event thought, it calss up another grid which shows all appts for that day, including multiple appts, each on a separeate row.

>If you only want one patient name to show for each time slot, then you can use SET ENGINEBEHAVIOR. Or, you could also use MIN(patient_name) to get the first one alphabetically.

Right now, I have added the only other field in teh select statement and VFP appears to be happy, should I take if ot and place set engine instead?

In that case, having the Group cluse appears to be useful. Basically, the first grid show a 7 day period for 24 hours and serves as a visible indicator as to whether a slot is fully empty. Double click is the one that actually shows the full details.

I wish there was a way to point the curos on the cell in the grid and it woudl show all the names in that slot for that time, kinda like a tips tool.
