Glad to hear it's working now.

As far as what you were doing before, it's hard to comment because I don't really know what might be going on underneath when you clear out bound fields, enter new data and then use the data to do an insert. I suppose as long as you aren't checking for changes and demanding either an update or a revert, nothing bad should happen, but it does seem like the wrong way to go about it.

The append blank seems like a better option. The other alternative would be not to use bound fields at all, but then for someone as lazy as I, it seems like too much typing that way.
