Thanks a lot Brian!!!!!

I have used two richtext controls. One to write messages into and format it and then click on a cmdbutton to transfer it to the other richtext control. It is working beautifully with a one liner.

Thisform.olecontrol1.selText = Thisform.olecontrol2.TextRTF

Now I have to find a way to make the last message appear in view when the richtext control starts scrolling. Any ideas?
