I'll conform to their EULA and choose another solution if I need to run my apps on Linux.
If the EULA is too unfair or restrictive for my clients, I just won't buy the product any more - just like any other software package. When it comes to a choice between breaking the law and using another product, I'll switch products every time.

But I think it is both unwise and unfair to limit the environments my apps run on. MS should allow them to run anywhere I can get them to run - and MS should feel no obligation to support my apps in those environments (as though they support them under Windows).

I also feel they are losing a great marketing opportunity to show the Linux world what great things can be done with MS products.

I think so Brain, but "Snowball for Windows"?
