Nafees, if the program was uninstalled using its own uninstall program and its entry still exists in the Control Panel - Add/Remove software section then it did not do a good job of uninstalling itself!
Did you run the programs uninstall routine or just delete the application? If the latter then reinstall it and then run the programs uninstall program (if it has one).
Otherwise you will have to edit the registry and remove the programs entry from the following location in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Software
Microsoft
Windows
CurrentVersion
Uninstall
1) Make a backup of the registry first!
2) Search the registry for any other occurances of some unique keyword in the applications name in order to find and remove any other links to the application.
NB: Be warned - editing the registry is not recommended and you must accept the risks of doing so. Make a backup of the registry first!
An alternative would be to get a registry "cleaner" like the one included in Symantec Utilities. I am sure there are other free ones around. You could seach Google for a start.
