From 6.1, no. I'm running 7.1, and have only seen one issue with running VFP 8. Now if I can remember the specifics.. <g>

In Utility.prg, the CharValue() function chokes on TRANSFORM(tuExpression,"") because VFP 8 changed the behavior of TRANSFORM when operating on Objects. Insert an IF VARTYPE() argument and return the empty string for type Object, and all is well. This function gets called from the builders.
