I'm really confused. Didn't your original question say that you wanted to turn off color when printing on a color printer? Or is the problem that things are okay in color, it's just when printing on a black & white printer, you get various shades of gray in place of the color objects.

If this is the case, you could add two items to the report; one is black and the other is color. In the PRINT WHEN logic, use PRTINFO(6)=1 for the black and !PRTINFO(6)=1 for the color.

>>>I thought that, with VFP8, the report will not keep the printer environemnt (if I clic it off). However, I developped a report when my default printer was a laser printer b&w. Now, when I run it with a color printer, I have to manually tell the printer that I don't want to print color.
>>>Do I have to do the same hacking into the report dbf that we did in previous version of fox or do I miss something ?

>>>Thanks
