Another alternative would be to index the child table on the field that references the records in the parent table, then establish the relation and SET SKIP TO (child table name). Or use Access or Cystal Reports. We all know the shortcomings of the Foxpro report writer, which is the same as it was 10 years ago. MS and Bill obviously do not want to upgrade it. There is not as much revenue generated when you have one product that does everything.
But I would rather live with a weak report writer than a weak application with a great report writer.
