In the EULA:
[...] you agree to: (a) [...] (b) the Redistributables only operate in conjunction with Microsoft Windows or NT operating systems products [...]
Three comments:
1) It's a badly constructed sentence: "You agree to the Redistributables only operate in conjunction with Microsoft Windows or NT operating systems products."
2) It does NOT state that you're not allowed to use it on another OS. It simply states that the redistributables only operate on Windows(NT). That's all. In my opinion it only limits their responsibility with regard to support.
3) Andy Kramek made clear that the redists are only a portion of VFP.
Is there any other relevant part in the EULA? I couldn't find it! If there's no other relevant part, then there's no violation at stake and no case for the M.S.-lawyers at all. (But in the mean time, a lot of you all have started to think (no, "be sure") that it's not allowed.

Constructive frustration is the breeding ground of genius.
If there’s no willingness to moderate for the sake of good debate, then I have no willingness to debate at all.
Let's develop superb standards that will end the holy wars.
"There are three types of people: Alphas and Betas", said the beta decisively.
