Did it fail at the start of the automated process OR AFTER SOME RECORDS HAS BEEN ADDED? If the latter, then we can say that we have some code implicted in the occurrance of the problem in the first place.
If the former, then the best we can GUESS is that it was the manual (form) process that caused the corrpution.

I don't remember much in the way of bad memo file reports related specifically to VFP8, but if you are getting them then I can understand your desire to bo back to VFP7. Do you think you could have a marginal Hard Drive or network connection or something like that?
